DISCOVERY SNORKELING TRIP From 8 years old (or 7 if the child is comfortable in the water and not afraid on a boat) From the boat, equipped with a "shorty" wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and fins, discover the rich biodiversity of the Mediterranean fauna and flora at the Bagherra site with family or friends.. No special skills required — just the ability to swim. Children must be accompanied.
INTRODUCTORY DIVE From 8 years old Maximum depth: 6 meters for 20 minutes On the surface, it’s nice... but underwater, it’s even better! Are you not very comfortable in the water? Have you been traumatized by Jaws, or do you have a fear of water or claustrophobia, but have always dreamed of discovering what lies beneath the surface? Now is the time to take the plunge!
How does it work? We start by offering you a coffee or a refreshing drink to get to know each other. Then, we dress you up as a frog! Before departure, all instructions about the activity and safety guidelines will be shared in a fun and relaxed way to put even the most anxious at ease.. No special skills required, even if you can't swim. Once at the site, after a 5-minute boat ride, you will take turns joining the instructor at the surface, who will equip you with the tank. After a brief review of the instructions, it’s time for immersion—gently at first, just one meter to check everything is okay, then off to explore this fascinating new world for about twenty minutes at a maximum depth of 6 meters for adults and 2-3 meters for children. After your dive, you can continue enjoying the site, soak up the sun while identifying the species you encountered on the information sheets, or return to the water with fins, mask, and snorkel. Back at the center, it will be time to receive your diploma and congratulations.
EXPLORATION PACK From 12 years old Includes a 20-minute introductory dive and a 40-minute exploration dive Did the introductory dive feel too short? Did it leave you wanting more, or would you like to share this magical moment with family or friends? If you have a minimum of comfort in the water, after the introductory dive, you can opt for the Exploration Pack — a second dive with family or friends (max 4 people) that lasts twice as long (40 minutes), always accompanied by an instructor.
The "A madreperla" diving club invites you on a sea excursion to discover part of the wild eastern coast of Corsica, leading to the Genoese Tower of Diana. Located in the commune of Aleria, this still little-known territory is secluded and preserved, where nature and heritage blend harmoniously. Our boat will sail along the beaches and lagoon in a natural setting where the Tower of Diana stands proudly—a true witness to the maritime trade history of Corsica. The Tower of Diana is situated between two major Corsican cities: Bastia to the north and Porto Vecchio to the south. This geographical position was of great importance in the 16th century when the tower served as a lookout point against Barbary invasions, controlling maritime routes and ensuring the region's safety. Today, the Tower of Diana is a must-visit for history and heritage enthusiasts, offering not only a dive into Corsican history but also breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes between sea and mountains. You will end at the beautiful Bagheera reef, a small underwater gem where you can snorkel and observe a multitude of fish while learning about Mediterranean biodiversity in a rich and rejuvenating environment, preserved from nautical overtourism.
